Changes we have made throughout the video

Due to circumstances involving actors not being available we have had to change some ideas within our video. One of these being the idea at the beginning of the couple coming closer which has now changed to our stop motion idea and the couple idea has now been spread throughout the video but using a different couple than originally planned.

We took out the idea of using the barbie and ken idea in a car as we thought it wouldn't look very professional and would take away from the general vibe of our video. Also because we couldn't get the figurines unless we bought them and we didn't have the funding for this.

We added in the footage of Jess and I in the park to further emphasise the idea of feeling close to someone and to highlight the idea of friendship.

Troubles with editing

For one scene of our music video we have a speeded up section of 2 girls in a park playing on the apparatus. When it came to editing this section I had a lot of trouble of putting some footage double time and speeding it up.
We resolved this by making a new sequence and copy and pasting the footage over to speed it up, and then copy and pasting it back into the video.
Once I found out how to do this it was then easier to speed up all the footage in time with the music.

Final stages of editing

There are only a few blanks left in the video where I need to fill with filming we have previously done. The filming of the park has filled up a big gap that we found really hard to think of an idea that would fit with the music and also the video.
Once i have finished editing the park we have the end section of the song which needs to be edited together. Also a few adjustments will need to be made as we think that some filming is random and doesn't fit with the video.

Finished album covers

This is the outside of our finished album cover. We were stuck about what to do for the first pane. We looked through our video to see what aspect we could take and put onto the cover. We decided that the lips would be good to put on the cover because they were all different colours and that can link to the different coloured stripes on the front. Freya thought it would be a good idea to change the lip colours to match the stripes. This worked for all of the lips but the yellow so we kept the lips read. Once we had changed the lip colours and they looked good enough we was stuck with what to do for the backgrounds. Nothing looked right and we did not want stripes again so we thought it would be a good idea to have the 4 colours but put them in squares to make it look a bit different and it worked well.

filming 4

Yesterday, the group went to film, what we hope, to be out last bit of filming. We had bout a 30 second gap in the middle of the video that need to be filled up. We went to a park in Loughton and filmed Jess and Chloe on the swings, roundabout and all the other apparatus. On each of the apparatus we filmed in different shots so that we have a selection to chose from when it comes to editing. The filming went successful. After the park, we filmed me and freya jumping on the best singing along to the song and general mucking around so that if we needed to add anything anywhere in the video we have that extra footage we could use. We think that this is our last bit of filming and will be editing it in the lesson.
